Summer Research Internship Opportunities

WHO: Undergraduate students who will have successfully completed 60 hours of course work with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale prior to May 2016 and attend a partner institution. Students that graduate May 2016, or any time prior, are not eligible to apply.
WHAT: The George Washington Carver Research Program is a recruitment initiative to identify superior undergraduate students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic Serving Institutions for selected internship positions at the University of Arkansas.
WHEN: May 22, 2016 to July 29, 2016
WHY: Interns will work directly with a faculty mentor and be exposed to various aspects of graduate study and research. Interns who successfully complete the program will receive a research stipend and compensation for travel. Participants from outside of Washington County, AR will be provided with on-campus housing.
TO APPLY: Interested individuals must submit the online application, official transcripts, resume and application essay questions. The application deadline is midnight CMT February 21, 2016. Internships will be awarded on a competitive basis. Applicants must also have 2 current faculty members submit recommendation forms to the address or email address below.
